Issue #43 found itself screaming into light of day on Sunday 11th of July 2021, week 27 of the year. The cover piece flies under the name “Iron Mike versus Viking Kittie”, created by Dudly.
We all know Iron Mike Tyson likes his cats, but this was when he went one step further and bought a Cool Cats NFT! 

Welcome to the party Mike! Cool Cats are a collection of randomly generated NFTs, Gen 1 consists of 10,000 assembled cats from over 300k options, worth between 3 and 10 points. They were quickly sold out and only available on the secondary market. The super “Exptoc Cool Cats” reached astronomical prices and we couldn’t wait for their next release, Gen 2 breeding cats!
After a couple of quiet months since the launch of LL’s Meebits, the floor price was steadily picking up. A 1,000ETH sale of “Mutant” Pig Meebit quickly brought back the attention for the NFT project. 

Even though Larva Labs built a 0% fee Meebit platform, the sale happened on OpenSea, costing the seller roughly $50,000 of fees. Each individual Meebit came with a bundle of files, 3D print ready. And the physicals looked amazing! 
NFT artist DeafBeef auctioned off four pieces of his “Series 5 – Advection” collection for 276ETH. The collection was inspired by the study of fluid motion, bringing the relationship of nature, mathematics and generative art into one NFT. 

RTFKT studios partnered up with StockX, a big deal for both NFTs and the sneaker world. The new union was seen as something that might help other fashion brands to see the potential of NFT connections. 
The concept of this cover was a result of our fastest brainstorm to date at the time, taking us probably less than 5 minutes! The goal was to create a 3D Cool Cat #2724 featuring Mike’s signature face tattoo. 

Dudly rolled up his sleeves and mastered growing hair in Cinema 4D. The sunglasses reflect Mike and his surroundings, making it obvious that the pussycat is standing in a boxing ring!

The ArtDrop for issue #42 was “Please Wake Up” by the artist Graphanic, who makes it a point that his artworks are all vibrant and symbolic in nature.
