The Olympics have a long-lasting tradition of athletes trading Olympic pins. At the Tokyo 2020 Games (held in 2021) it was announced that there will soon be “digital versions of collectible and tradeable Olympic pins.” Team Great Britain became the first team to launch their NFTs. 

Elon Musk, Jack Dorsey, and Cathie Wood held a live panel discussion on “Bitcoin as a Tool for Economic Empowerment.” Our article breaks down the most interesting parts of the conversation. 12-year-old entrepreneur Ben coded and minted the NFT collection “Weird Whales” and earned $160k (84ETH) overnight. Way to go kid! We are thrilled for his future and his upcoming projects! 

High-valued-sales transactions in NFTs continued to project
a promising future. Artwork for this cover proved to be a challenge from the onset. Sometimes the concept for our cover is born in seconds, and then it is all about the right execution. Other times, long hours of sweating and generating ideas leave us empty-handed. “No pressure, it’s only Sunday afternoon,” we affirmed.  To our luck, a ready-made mecha asset reported from the heavens, and we were able to finish the cover on time, thankfully.  The rings are intentionally tampered with so that the Olympics committee wouldn’t have a reason to mint us a few lawsuits. 

Every week we bring our best to the table like nobody in the NFT entertainment industry has, and we’ll continue to do so, regardless of how nerve-wracking some Sundays can be.
