Issue #50 was born on Sunday, August 22, 2021, week 34 of the year. The colorful cover illustration was created by Dudly, and was drawn on an iPad with Procreate and animated in After Effects.

The NFT market was in full Bull-mode. We borrowed the idea from Hans Kemp’s “Bikes Of Burden” collection, who we had the pleasure to feature for the ArtDrop of issue #49.
The cover shows a bull driving a scooter that carries a lot more NFTs than it should. All the biggest projects were referenced in this cover, it’s interesting to take the time and try to look and recognise each one. If you find it difficult, you can use the cover breakdown article as a cheat sheet. 

We will remember week 34 because NFTs got their own tab in Coingecko, DAOs were running really well and gathering members fast, there were some record-setting sales, and of course the Pet Rocks ridiculous run to 700+ ETH.
Issue #50 was the final issue published under our Rarible ERC-1155 contract. From issue #51 onwards, we moved to our custom made ERC-721 contract and became independent of minting platforms.

The ArtDrop for issue #50 was “Plain Bagels” by the eccentric artist  Foodmasku, who makes meals into bizzare and beautiful face masks.
