We paid tribute to the Loot project with this great cover showing images from our content in a pseudo ASCII style referencing the simplicity and B&W aesthetic of the Loot project.

Everyone was talking about Loot in early September, as it brought a unique bottom-up-approach to NFTs. The temptation to go with a low-effort, letters-only cover was strong, but we decided it wouldn’t age well; so we dropped it and opted for something more visually unique. The end result was stunning, check out our cover breakdown article for a deep dive into the technicalities of how it was created. 

The knight armor of course references Loot, the rat is there to symbolise a very interesting (and head scratching) moment where Pranksy got scammed by a Banksy spoofer (but ended up getting his money back), the bear symbolised the lull and lower volume on NFT markets which had everyone wondering if this was a true bear market, or just a quick correction. 
Issue #51 was the first issue we printed on our very own contract and ERC-721. 

The ArtDrop for issue #51 was “WAGMI” by the artist Amal, who is now part of the Redlion team and responsible for some amazing covers.
