The last week we saw many people apeing, or shall we say Pepe-ing into Pepecoin. Some become, and others hope that they will over the course of time. Only time will tell.

We had our usual discussions about what possible events there were to cover from the past week, and nothing interested us more than the fomo surrounding the Pepe coin. It was literally on every second post in TW. On the other hand, the traffic caused by Pepe coin transactions made the gas shoot up. This came as a backlash for many in the community trying to get by with their degen lives, and also artists who were struggling with sales.

We found an opportunity in this narrative and took up to show a massive Pepe blocking an Ethereum fountain. There are people all around the fountain cheering and booing every time he sits and gets up from the fountain.

The entire animation of the cover artwork was created using frame-by-frame technique. After the animations were assembled in AE I passed it onto Dudly who mixed the SFX as I'm still quite poor at this task. When it came out of Dudly's studio the cover was in mint condition, ready to be minted.

If you look closely you can see a Doge diving into the pool and a mad Wojak (referring to the $Wojak coin that was also pumped during the week). As there were no other popular news from the past week we didn't have any other references dipping its feet in the cover.
