We all have at this point realized the power of Elon's tweets, for good or bad. Everything he touches/tweets turn to gold. The same occurred when he tweeted the Milady's meme the last week. Instant mooning! 

This we saw as the golden opportunity to create a cover for the issue. We had several ideas storming around the room, but we finally settled to use the concept of Midas' golden touch. This concept was well aligned with the Elon story as everything he touched turned to gold but in the end, this boon turns out to be a bane. With the Milady tweet this was also a parallel narrative as in 2021 we all saw the dirty laundry behind Milady's project and its founders. We made the sketch and ensured not to show Miladys in light. As you can see in the sketch and the artwork the little Miladys wield a knife behind her back. The surroundings have already been turned to gold, especially the Doge doggo right behind them. 

It was quite challenging as always to create the artwork in a different style, this time being a Disney-inspired style. I took inspiration from the classic animated movie 'El Dorado', which shared a similar theme (going to rewatch it soon!)

Animation wise we kept it minimal since the artwork being in a recognisable style if animated poorly would look bad. We showed the scene right after Elon turns the Milady into gold. In the far back you can also see our reference to the $PSYOP/$BEN drama. It reads "TRUST ME BRO FUND - $PSYOP". Did you also invest in them anon?
