This week’s cover was to highlight NFT NYC, the “leading annual non-fungible token event.” 

The highlight instead was that we had two covers this week. One of course that didn’t make it. Life indeed is a roller coaster ride, sometimes at the highest of the highs and at other times, it’s at the bottom of the pit. Rest assured we made it out of the pit this week. 

Our initial idea was to show the different characteristics of New York confined within the shapes of ‘N’, ‘F’, and a ‘T’. We made it but it didn’t stand out. “It didn’t fit to be the cover of Redlion Gazette”, reminded Red. 

So we set out again with little time at our hands and a hell lot of adrenaline that comes at a high price. Red gave us the direction we should charge in: a BAYC ape - Statue of Liberty poster across a high wall.

The wall was raised and the Bored ape was brought out to flex looking over the Big Apple. We covered all the relevant references from the various events that took place in the past week and finally, the cover was ready-- ready to be animated. 

Big kudos to Dudly for animating in a heartbeat and being constant support through the turmoil. We will be back next week, stronger and bolder.
