Issue #22 was Valentine’s day special, released on Sunday 14th of February 2021, week 6 of the year. The artwork is romantically titled “Proof of Love” and was created by of our legend Dudly.

A hot shot couple Pongkhi & Samujjal from the state of Assam in India said no to the traditional ways of getting hitched. Instead of flowers, perfect dresses and cheesy wedding venues they chose NFT rings permanently embedded in their Metamask wallet. Both rings come as a physical NFT with an implanted NFC/RFID chip in them, made by Christian Caine Jewelry.

After some deep thought and consideration, we decided on a Pip-Boy-themed glove from the Fallout video game in front of the Vegas strip famous for its weddings among other attributes (there is also a game called Fallout: New Vegas).

The artwork represents a futuristic and colorful sunset in Las  Vegas. We put a spin on the name and changed it to LAS GWEIGAS. The heart-shaped cloud is strafing across the sky.

This was also the first time we referenced our ArtDrop on the cover. If you look carefully at the glove's home screen it contains Hashmask, Punk, and a Bollywood reference for Pongkhi and Samujjal. The artwork was created on Procreate using an iPad to create the illustration, with the exception of the glove screen content which was made in Photoshop. 

On behalf of the whole Redlion Team, we congratulated the newly-weds and wished them all the best in the start of their new chapter.
