Issue #33 was published on Sunday May 1st 2021, the 17th week of the year. This cover was a great collage piece designed by Dudly and was titled “Collage Numéro Deux”.

There was no main theme to focus around so we decided to go with a mix of all the content we created represented on the cover. What better way to do that than with a collage?
The most fun news was about Crypto-Twitter influencers going head to head with boxer Andre Cronje. The match was offered for betting by Pokershares. Another big event that happened this week (which didn’t seem that significant at the time) was the “little and new” project Bored Ape Yacht Club being sold out. 

Of course, BAYC went on to become a huge brand in the NFT space (even the likes of Eminem bought one later on) as you will see in upcoming covers as well. Beeple had just dropped his “Spring Collection” on Nifty Gateway with earth-shattering success. Jay and Silent Bob also launched NFTs that week which at the time was a bold move but the drop was nothing special and soon forgotten.

The NFT space was heating up. Week after week, we saw incredible growth, eventually leading to an NFT explosion, as we’ll see later on.
