Through the lens of goblins, Zack combines a mix of physical and digital media to explore the natural history of our own world, spanning from Earth’s primordial, dinosaur-infested origins, through our not-so-far-future as virtual brains in vats, to the sobering end of the universe as we know it. In these speculative works, there is but one certainty: while eons pass by, the profundity and banality of existence will always intermingle to comic effect.

Zack recently founded The Benevolent Goblin Friendship Society, a collection of meticulously handmade, digitalized, discombobulated and reconfigured claymation NFTs. Constructed from hundreds of handmade clay parts, Goblins are a whimsical hybrid of analog claymation and digitally composited wizardry. He hopes this project will inspire more traditional artists to apply their niche crafts to the NFT space and help to expand the visual repertoire of this nascent “art” community. He also hopes he’ll be able to sell all his goblins too, of course - a man’s gotta eat after all.

Issue #35 was released on Sunday, 16th May 2021, week 19 of the year. The cover art “Raining Dogs in India” was inspired by recent events at the time, made by Dudly.

ETH co-founder Vitalik Buterin drained all the liquidity from Uniswap and donated $1 billion worth of $SHIB to India’s Covid Relief, breaking all the records for a single TX donation.

At the time, some called this move a rug, while others were thrilled by this token of generosity. This caused panic in the market, resulting in about a 50 % price fall.

Christie's hosted another significant and highly anticipated NFT auction in collaboration with Larva Labs. But after a month-long public art exhibition of Crypto Punks in NYC, not everyone cared for how the Punk auction was handled.

There was a big success for Ethereum, reaching a new ATH at $4,000 as the amazing ecosystem continued to grow at an unprecedented rate. 
The Tor NFT project “Dreaming at Dusk” sold for 500ETH with a promise of some proceedings going towards network security, continuing to serve the community with digital privacy. 

We introduced “Pulsquares”, an experimental generative math art NFT project, and the artist Zack London, aka Gossip Goblin. It took Dudly 23 hours with 27,125 strokes to draw this illustration. In this rich cover, you can find many hidden details. Rumour has it, nobody knows how many dogs are scattered throughout the artwork. You can’t miss Vitalik’s giant head, an almost god-like savior of the sick and poor. All nine Punks from Christie's and more are also there.

The ArtDrop for issue #35 was “Goblinized Bahdoon” by the artist Gossip Goblin, who is also a writer, illustrator, and sculptor specializing in the oft-overlooked realm of Goblin art and lore.
