Mostly known in the intercosmos as Brellias, his art tries to tie worlds of fantasy, surrealism, and science fiction together. With a mix of neon purple and pinks, his pieces tend to convey emotional imagery, based on events that impact his life and that he want to share in a relatable way. Brellias' artworks envision a world where everything is either a dream or a nightmare."

Issue #37 was released on Sunday 30th May 2021, this was week 21 of the year. The cover artwork is called “Let’s Play on Ethereum” and was constructed by Dudly.

Gamestop, the video game retailer, had been on the mission of developing an NFT platform on the Ethereum blockchain. They launched a website and smart contract for a new platform. Not many details were released, but word on the street suggested a Gamestop token as well. 

Classic video game company Atari signed a partnership deal with VHS, creators of “Zed Run” an NFT horse racing game. 
A preceding couple of weeks would prove to be turbulent in the crypto world, especially for those undergoing the whole cycle for the first time. It appeared stablecoins were providing an ever more important safe-haven role for times of extreme volatility. More and more bigwigs from the old financial world acknowledged Crypto and its potential. Continuing adoption, widespread interest, and continual faith amounted to something more important than the current bearish market.

At the same time, Crypto influencer Scott Melker was caught with his fingers in the pie. He was deleting old Twitter posts where he shilled and dumped on his crowd of 450k+ followers. Unfortunately, we see this way too often! 
Pranksy purchased “Genesis.json”, probably the most innovative NFT to be ever created for 88.88 ETH. 

The main attribute for this week’s cover artwork was a custom-branded gaming controller symbolizing the difference between the new and fancy 3.0 web and the old tech of finance 2.0. The latest Playstation controller was rebranded with Defi/ETH symbols, including Redlion! To draw a parallel comparison, the old tech controller has FEES and WAIT buttons standing for the fiat dinosaur financial world.


The ArtDrop for issue #37 was  “Forgotten Memories” by the artist Brellias, who visualises the unknown through sci-fi and fantasy art.
