Issue 11 was a slow week and the main news was the successful Pranksy advent calendar drop. The challenge was to depict that without showing a copy of the original, which would be low-effort shit.  The idea illustrates the actual quantity of 100 sold #nft calendars in a looping endless animation.

First of all, I studied the original gif with the calendar and recreate it in a minimalistic manner using the MagicaVoxel program for voxel graphic creation.

The 3d model has been brought to Blender where I made the passing by animation and lights. The flying typography and some color treatment were achieved as always in After Effects, our good old final destination friend.

The voxel asset came into action again at the beginning of the distribution of the artworks from the calendar when I provided the .vox file freely to anyone to place it in the cryptovoxels metaverse and fill it with the dropped artwork nfts.
