A King cover is born. This one is very special. It was for the first time after 2017 BTC broke ATH. Redlion had the idea to depict BTC as a king pawn dressed in bitcoin orange. I came up with the rocket ship ready to launch into the thought mix. At the beginning of the timelapse, you can see a sketch of my keyhole concept that we've ditched.
We tried to be smart with issue number placement and I got the idea we could let the 12 swaps to a BTC magic number 21.
If you watch carefully you'll see a small bitcoinaut waving from the tiny window of the rocket. Also, the issue highlights are hidden in the clouds. The most tricky part was the smoke animation and I have reworked it several times.
The original concept was to make the rocket ship ready to take off (as we did), and when BTC demolishes the ATH again, to have it shown airborne on the way to the moon. We decided to evolve it and go for king metaphors, something that adds to the collectability too.
