This week’s cover was a depiction of the files from Twitter that Elon Musk presented to the public, which were previously hidden due to various interests of the company and their political leanings.
The last week was a slow one and hence we had to really hunt down for a topic. The trending one at that point was the Twitter files that Elon brought to light. The files involved documents that uncovered the various steps Twitter had allegedly taken in order to guard the interests of certain people, by censoring articles and tweets that tried to char their reputation. The reveals are coming in several parts. The latest reveal shows that Twitter allegedly built a "black list to limit users" visibility. All these uncoverings point in one direction which is unjustified censorship.
Dudly saw an opportunity to present this in a way, showing different emojis(that are metaphors for the different kinds of data) that get shredded inside this paper-cut craftwork of the Twitter logo.
The idea was simple, to the point, and executed with razor-sharp skills. We created the assets on AI, and moved them to Photoshop where some texture and shadow effects were added. After this, Dudly took it to the After Effects Lab to perform the necessary actions to bring the cover to life. Once the audio FX was added the cover artwork was ready to fly out the shelves.
If this comes across Elon Musk, he is surely sharing it to his ex-employees who played a vital role in suppressing free speech on the internet due to their biased opinions that were fueled by political or monetary interests. We believe in the coming months more such data will be uncovered by Elon who aims to build the company in public.
