Have you noticed the NFT market bull run hit us hard? 😂 I am sure you have. Anything tokenized is mooning right now and it seems the sky is the limit. We had bull cover in our minds for some time and finally, it got executed with issue #50.
As you may already know we are always trying to construct interesting twists within our concepts. Showing only the bull would be uninspiring. We recalled the latest Artdrop by Hans Kemp Bikes of Burden and we got the idea to depict the market surge as a bull riding on a small scooter loaded heavily with NFTs.
Let's start with the vehicle. You can spot the OpenSea sticker on a slightly broken motorcycle. Isn't it ironic that OpenSea was down the moment I was writing this article? The exhaust gas is indicating the ride is burning Ethereum. Fun fact: The tire spinning animation is reversed means it is turning backward. I did mess it up here, but I can always say it is just an optical illusion.
This bull rider is a real tough guy – focused and looking straightforward. He is tattooed on his shoulders with BTC and ETH signs. This Trait combination makes this cover really rare, and (so far) only one another is in existence. If you have just come out of the cave and you don't know what WGMI stands for, then = We Gonna Make It.
As a true NFT enthusiast, you have probably already tried to find all NFT / DEFI references I have implemented in the huge cargo.
For the newbies here is the list starting from the left bottom going clockwise: Meebits, M1 Mutant Serum, NFT Photography (in general), Curio Cards, The Fuckin' Trolls, CoolCats, ZEDRUN, Tom Sachs: Rocket Factory, Lucky Maneki, Cryptopunks (Chinese billionaires aping in), NBA TopShots, Axie Infinity, XCOPY, Animetas, Mutant Ape Yacht Club (article), Pudgy Penguins, Rocks (article), BabyDino Finance, Art Blocks.
The piece was drawn on iPad with Procreate and animated in AfterEffects. At the end of the timelapse video, you can see me extracting each moving part from each other and filling the background so the objects are overlapping nicely.
